1. Data controller

MinFestivalCamp is the data controller for the processing of your personal data. If you have questions, please contact us at contact@minfestivalcamp.dk.

2. What data do we collect?

We collect data you provide when you use the service, as well as certain technical data collected automatically:

• Create a user profile.
• Create or join a camp.
• Share content and interact with other users.
• Sign up for notifications.
• Your IP address and browser/device information are collected when you sign in, to maintain session security.
• If you add a map pin, your precise location (latitude/longitude) is stored to display it on the camp map.

We do not collect cookies or other tracking data on the marketing site.

3. How do we use your data?

We use your data to:

• Deliver and improve the service.
• Enable interaction between users in camps.
• Send relevant push notifications, if you have given permission.
• Comply with legislation and ensure service operation.

The legal basis for processing is: performance of the contract between you and MinFestivalCamp (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) for service delivery; your consent (Article 6(1)(a)) for push notifications; and our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) for security and service improvement.

4. Storage and security

Your data is stored securely in data centres within the EU/EEA. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Personal data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is anonymised immediately. Server logs and backup copies containing personal data are automatically deleted within 30 days.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the following rights as a MinFestivalCamp user:

• Right to access your data.
• Right to rectification of incorrect data.
• Right to erasure ("the right to be forgotten").
• Right to restriction of processing.
• Right to data portability.
• Right to object to processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk if you believe your data protection rights have been violated.

6. Account and data deletion

You can delete your account at any time directly in the app under Menu → Account → Delete account. When you delete your account:

• Your personal data (name, email, profile picture and phone number) is anonymised immediately.
• All active sign-in methods, including Apple Sign-In, are revoked.
• Your membership of all camps is removed.
• Your session data and notification settings are deleted.

Content you have shared (posts, comments, etc.) remains visible on the platform but is shown anonymously as "[deleted user]".

7. Sharing with third parties

We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing or other purposes without your consent. We may share data if required to comply with applicable legislation or a court order.

We use the following third-party services to operate MinFestivalCamp: Sentry (error monitoring — may receive anonymised error data to help us fix bugs), Resend (transactional email delivery), and Expo (push notification delivery). These services act as data processors and only process data on our behalf.

10. Age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account on MinFestivalCamp. If you are between 13 and 15 years old, you may only use the service with verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you via the app or email. The latest version is always available on this page.
